My name is Veronica Fisher, I worked in the care settings since 1990. I have a certificate in NVQ level 2 and 3 in Social Care and I have achieved various skills, experiences, knowledge and understandings in the caring sectors. Worked in different sectors from Hospital settings in Mental Health Unit – Anorexic groups, Nursing Home people with Dementia, Surrey County Councils with Childrens and Young Adults Group, Residential Home for Learning Disabilities with Surrey Boarders NHS, I enjoyed my job passionately, I share my ideas and views I maintained high standard of care throughout my years of Service. I work hard, I am caring, understanding, patient and take great responsibilities in my roles. My hobbies are singing, travelling and learning about different cultures, and my Christian Faith.

I have achieved these goals and being recognised as a team leader within the establishment of Strada Care. As a House Manager I organise, plan, involve in decision-making, aims and objectives and ensure that the welfare of the service users and to the team are maintained. I undertake and give the necessary supports to the service Users and Teams, to achieving their objectives and goals, in a day-to-day holistic Care, I work alongside with the Staffs to create a Support Plan, for all service users in a Personal- Centre way as individuals. I also support staff to have Key working meeting.

I take great pride in the Service Users especially organising their day-to-day activities, Indoor and outdoor activities, having a Balance Diet and high standard of living, organising and celebrating individual’s cultural events, Birthdays parties, ensure the environment is safe and conducive within their needs. Respecting and welcoming their next of kin or relatives, making them feel comfortable and respecting their privacy and maintaining a high standard of communication throughout.
